Half Year Reflections

Can you believe it’s already over half way through 2018? It feels like just yesterday I was packing up our Christmas decorations from our first Christmas in our new home. To be honest, my husband’s presents are still sitting under his desk. Back in January I posted a blog Welcoming 2018 and focusing on my goals for the year.  Now we’re in July I’m going to look at those goals and see how well they’re going! Half Year Reflections.

“Moving into 2018 I’m going to try my hardest to write 2 posts a week. I want to meet some new bloggers and make a few new friends.”

This really isn’t going to plan. I’ve cut it down to 6 a month and that’s going a little better. I need to really focus and use my spare time a little better. I spend far too much time day dreaming and staring out the bus window.

‘I’m going to try a little bit harder to Instagram regularly….. I may even try twitter again’

Okay.. I’m a little better than I was. I really struggle because I spend a lot of time on my feed and nothing ever looks right. I’ve just started using the app UMUN (that I mentioned in the post ‘Must have apps for bloggers’ ) to help plan my feed in advance, so hopefully I will find it easier!

‘Something new! I’ve made a little SHOP.’

This wasn’t really a goal as such. Just a surprise for myself. I was focused on growing my Redbubble shop, but as of last month I’ve moved my products over to this website. I’m so proud of myself. I’m so used to hiding my goals from everyone but I really hope this will lead to something amazing in the future.

So far the year’s going okay. It’s had it’s ups and downs so far, but what year doesn’t?

How are your goals going for 2018?
