What to watch on Netflix this weekend!
A few days ago it was reported that Netflix was looking to hire binge watchers; someone to watch, rate and categorise their Netflix original catalogue. We might not all be that lucky, but whether you’re using Netflix as a comfort blanket or you’re just looking for a way to waste away your life, there is such a large choice on Netflix at the moment. So much so that sometimes you just don’t know where to begin. I often get stuck continuously scrolling, so that now that I’m watching a few amazing series, I’ve put together a couple of my suggestions on what to watch on Netflix this weekend!
Let’s just tick this one off my list of what to watch on Netflix. I’m not, okay maybe a little ashamed to say I’ve just restarted Friend’s for the third time. It’s one of those shows you can put on, whether you’re paying complete attention to it, doing the washing up or just lounging around reading blogs.
Series of Unfortunate Events
When I was younger, I was never much of a reader but I loved the books so much. I’m so glad that Netflix has done such an amazing job of recreating the dark, gothic tale of the Boudelaire orphans. The aesthetic is absolutely gorgeous and the casting is just perfect. You’re really missing out if you haven’t yet watched this.
I’m going to admit that I wasn’t too fond of Riverdale the first time I watched it. It became one of those series that fell into the ‘continue watching’ header for weeks on end. Later, I was stuck for something to watch and decided to give it another shot and really started to enjoy it. I am becoming more interested in the characters although (and it might be an unpopular opinion) it feels like every episode I’m now just waiting for the Serpent’s to kick down another door (and of course politely apologise.) Overall I’m still not too sure with Riverdale at the moment, but I’m definitely going to watch the next episode.
What are you currently watching on Netflix? Is there a show I’m really missing out on, please let me know!
